Using Budgety

These terms govern Budgety, a personal budgeting service operated by Nox Interactive LLC, incorporated in Missouri, United States. By using Budgety, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. You must be at least 16 and meet any higher age requirement that applies where you live.

Budgety lets you manually record transactions and set budgets. It does not connect to your bank, move money, or provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Check your records and calculations before relying on them. EUR and USD are separate ledgers; switching currency does not convert amounts.

Your account

You sign in with Atomira. Keep your Atomira account secure, use an account you are authorised to access, and provide accurate information. Atomira’s terms also apply to your Atomira account. A successful Budgety sign-up may award the Vaultkeeper achievement on your public Atomira profile.

Your vault password

Your financial records are encrypted in your browser using a separate vault password. Keep that password safe and choose one you do not reuse elsewhere. We do not receive your vault password or decryption key and cannot reset it to recover your financial records. Losing your password means losing access to your saved vault contents.

You own the records you enter. You permit us and our hosting providers to store and transmit your encrypted vault and the account information needed to provide Budgety. Keep independent copies of important financial records. Demo data is illustrative and changes to the demo are not saved to an account.

Acceptable use

Do not use Budgety unlawfully, access another person’s account or data without permission, distribute malicious code, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. We may restrict access to address abuse, security threats, or legal requirements. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Availability and responsibility

Budgety is an evolving service. Features may change, and interruptions, errors, or data loss may occur. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or absolute security. We will use reasonable care in providing the service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without additional warranties and we are not responsible for indirect losses resulting from your use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights. You remain responsible for your financial decisions.

Leaving Budgety

You can stop using Budgety at any time. Signing out or clearing browser data does not delete your saved vault. To request deletion of your Budgety account data, contact hello@atomiralabs.com. We may verify your identity before handling the request. Deleting your Atomira account does not automatically delete Budgety records.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the service where appropriate. Contact hello@atomiralabs.com about these terms or security@atomiralabs.com to report a security issue.

Missouri law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections under the laws where you live. Disputes are subject to the state and federal courts in Missouri, except where applicable law gives you the right to use another court.
